  • Moffy is super difficult to photograph! The mask (so far) features an iridescent paint job, moveable ear tufts, moving jaw, and orange glow eyes. This mask isn’t finished yet. I am planning to add a fur hood with included rooster feathers, but that’s going to have to wait until I have more money for materials.

  • I added in the dark navy textural fur similarly to how you’d add trim to garments. I really like how this defines the colour segments. I may have also accidentally made a fancy-ish end cap…

  • Got all the pads sewn in, lined, & stuffed. I’ve stuffed all the claws but I really want to just attached the ones on the middle fingers to be super reminiscent of bee claws…but I know doing that means it won’t sell well 😔

  • First pass of hand sewing on these paws is now completed. Next I need to do the machine sewing of the pads before they can be installed.

  • A friend had been wanting a set of my paws for a while but didn’t want to ask because they knew how much work/$$ goes into them. So I decided that would be their Christmas present this year & got them to pick out fabrics from my stash. They’re gonna look sooo cute!

  • Nyoomed these paw pads through the sewing machine. After I sew these in, I’m forced to wait for the package of accompanying claws to arrive to complete these sets.

  • Marathon session with lots of accidental stabbing getting all the fingers aligned & sewn. No kidding, this is a finnicky pattern!

  • Feetpaw progress! I’ve set the claws and sewn on one foot bottom. Have to finish up the other one and sew in the lining on both. Sooo close to being finished!

  • Patterning up Miwak’s head. I took the forehead rest out to get a closer match to my tiny head dimensions on the Edhead. I also patterned up their footpaw off camera. All ready for fur purchasing now. 😊

  • And Miwak’s feet are complete! They have shoes installed inside and they are so comfy to jump around in.
