More progress on the goose cross stitch. The geese are completed, so now I’m moving on to the snowy ground.

‘Thyreus’ WindstoneEditions kirin. I painted this piece with the colouration of the blue neon cuckoo bee in mind. 48 pieces of a faux mohair/real mohair truffle themed personal teddy bear. This all took about 5 solid hours to mark, cut, and prep.

Meet ‘Otto’, a 14” bear made using Furaddiction’s lyric pattern. His fur has guard hairs and he features brown glass eyes and suede paw pads shaded with derwent inktense blocks & pencils. He wears a quadruple bow with a natural seashell ornament. Not for sale. This bear already has a home.

I bought some inktense blocks to try out for shading. They are great for under shading colours on fabric pads but I ended up using my intense pencils using the water dip method to get the fine edging details though.

Non-zero progress on Miwak’s skull hat! I reinforced all the joins with worbla strips, then sanded down with the dremel/by hand. The friction heat from sanding was an advantage for blending the seam lines together somewhat. I used the last of my foam clay to start sculpting out the details which will later be covered…
