  • Thread sculpted feet and paws for the truffle bear. This took literal hours and thread pulling hurt my hands, but the end result is so satisfying. These still need colour shading before being attached to the body (& I’m terrified of doing it! What if I stuff them up?!).

  • My projects board. Pinning up all the fur swatches with their references for each project is really helpful to visualise how a project will come together colour wise.

  • Here’s the final design for the parasaur premade & this sheet will go with the partial. The final owner will be able to name them and I’ll add that to the sheet.

  • Those claw gloves are incredible!! So clean and detailed!! I’m curious if the fabric is thin enough to allow you to use your phone while wearing them.

Thanks! Those gloves are part of a personal suit I have been working on for years and was one of the first set of paws I ever made. The fabric is thick dance lycra with conductive thread sewn into the pointer finger & thumb of each glove. The conductive thread allows me to use my…

  • Parasaur tail core for the premade. The white is calico reinforcing & the end has a lovely wiggle to it.

  • Almost done with the colourway options for the para mask. This one is looking particularly sexy.

  • I bought some inktense blocks to try out for shading. They are great for under shading colours on fabric pads but I ended up using my intense pencils using the water dip method to get the fine edging details though.

  • Non-zero progress on Miwak’s skull hat! I reinforced all the joins with worbla strips, then sanded down with the dremel/by hand. The friction heat from sanding was an advantage for blending the seam lines together somewhat. I used the last of my foam clay to start sculpting out the details which will later be covered…

  • I’ve now installed the pads and readied everything for final assembly. I’m now sewing in palm pads unstuffed then stuffing through a horizontal cut near the bottom seam; this gives all the benefits of an easy install & reduced annoying lump from the stuffing seam. The finger pads I will continue to sew in stuffed…

  • Some more progress on the commission paws. All the fur pieces have been assembled and the pads/claws are now prepped for installation.
