  • These were some commission paws I finished off a while back. The brown set featured rare & discontinued grizzly fur, custom mustelid pads, and cuticles. The white set (modelled by my hugsband) featured hidden finger escapes.

  • Patterning up Miwak’s head. I took the forehead rest out to get a closer match to my tiny head dimensions on the Edhead. I also patterned up their footpaw off camera. All ready for fur purchasing now. 😊

  • And Miwak’s feet are complete! They have shoes installed inside and they are so comfy to jump around in.

  • Sewing the cuticles over the claws. It’s a bit more fiddly work but compared to a bare claw, looks far more professional and realistic.

  • Jackalope feetpaws made using #FurSmoothie’s pattern. They have shoes inside, and some extra squish under the soles as the shoes are just basic canvas slip-ons. I am quite impressed with this pattern, totally changed my mind about gluing as opposed to carving foam. Might smooth out the hock hump but otherwise ready to fur.

  • It is becoming increasingly apparent that this is not a tail I ever wish to remake. First pic is the pieces for the first 2 segments, took about 2 hours to extract. Finally, 3 days and multiple cuttings sessions later, I present the rolls of pattern. 😵‍💫

  • After seeing how well check padding worked on Miwak, I decided to add some to the Jackalope, and wow! So much better now! Also installed the eyes and eyelids, and attempted to fix the rubbing on the upper tooth (but it hates me).

  • Miwak’s headbase is largely completed. No eyelids yet as still need to hook up the leds. I am also loving how well this fits me; it doesn’t slip at all & the jaw movement is partially kinetic with the slack taken up by the springs

  • One glove done for K’rahmyteh. The silver swirls are conductive thread. Now to complete the other one and add the claws.

  • This has taken literal days to pattern and patterning isn’t completely finished yet! It’s the most complex thing I’ve made to date.
