  • ‘Spirit of the North’ cosplay mask progress & movement test. I chose to invert the screw setup on the forehead rest/head harness to allow the hardware to be swapped out if they ever break. This is going to be put aside now until I clear some things in my queue.

  • Made up a 1:1 replica of the belt end of Miwak’s bonetail for my bodysuit maker. I am now considering adding 2 more segments but carving it ragged to look like an injury – but that’s a 2023 project.

  • Started on the background, blocked in the distant geese, and got going on the other half (which is mostly environment).

  • This fantasy badger tail is made of super soft, textured speciality furs, & features a gore end cap with hidden belt tunnel. NFS This was a commission piece.

  • 48 pieces of a faux mohair/real mohair truffle themed personal teddy bear. This all took about 5 solid hours to mark, cut, and prep.

  • A lot of modifications later and I’m pretty happy with the form now. The eyes are just placeholders until I settle on a colourway design – until then, this is being set aside.

  • After some frustration locating worbla (had to buy from 2 different places), I now have all the pieces traced and the foam cut. As worbla allows form shaping I combined some pieces, and the foam is cut slightly smaller to allow for the worbla sandwich seams so the whole thing stays the required size.

  • Finished personal handpaws for my partner. They feature non-functioning dewclaws, claw sheaths, and finger escapes.

  • The paws are pretty much ready for final assembly. Still a lot of hand sewing to do though.

  • My sewing machine disliked the leather/suede material so I ended up handstitching the feet paw pads rather than risking the suede. The bear has now been jointed and the head stuffed. Next step is finishing the head before it’s jointed to the body.
