My sewing machine disliked the leather/suede material so I ended up handstitching the feet paw pads rather than risking the suede. The bear has now been jointed and the head stuffed. Next step is finishing the head before it’s jointed to the body.

‘Sundance’ kirin.

A Windstone Editions PYO sculpt completely handpainted in opaque & colour shift acrylics with antiquing and wash shadowing in 4 different colours. It’s sealed with a gloss varnish. I used a lot of new techniques on this one and learnt a lot.

I am grateful my partner indulges my bullshit; they helped me create a digital 2-way banyan pattern. This is gonna make a baptista AND an OFMD style banyan.

If the test sews work then I’ll finalise the pattern for public release.

Decided to make ooak teddy bears to get rid of excess fur stock. This is a cute panda design in black and cream/gold sparkles with a soft white muzzle and suede paws. It’s gonna look so cute!

Finished #missmonster snarl mask completely handpainted by me. It’s fully lined inside using 1mm foamies with an adjustable elastic strap. Model is my hugsband.

Over the weekend I made up 2 husky curl tails (pattern by Eastern Dragon Studios). I only wanted one for my partner, but I couldn’t decide on the colourway so I made two. Still have to finish them off. The one I don’t keep I’ll put up on my Etsy/KoFi stores.
