Some eye experiments. First lot are done with derwent inktense and second batch is copics. Both lots using the same technique, just changed up the paper and materials. Different effects due to glue interaction with the paper/colour, but they all look nice.
There is truely no such thing as a ‘simple’ tail pattern. I patterned up a basic 3 colour design using the maquette method (where you pattern small then enlarge to correct scale) & still ended up with 16 pieces. This means the whole tail will have 32 pieces total, not including pieces for the gore cap/belt tunnel. But regardless, man, does this pattern look goood!
Thread sculpted feet and paws for the truffle bear. This took literal hours and thread pulling hurt my hands, but the end result is so satisfying. These still need colour shading before being attached to the body (& I’m terrified of doing it! What if I stuff them up?!).
My partners late grandmother loved loons, so I’m painting up this gryphon as a loon in tribute. I’m also playing around incorporating retarder and thinning medium in my paints, so far I’m loving the enhanced ability to blend & maintaining pigment vibrancy!
A little WE foo puppy painted in the likeness of a magnificant riflebird. This little pup was a fun quick paint to do after work.
Painted using atelier acrylics & folkart metallics, and sealed with an archival satin spray with accents picked out in gloss mod podge sealant.

Fur swatches organised on audio felt boards is the workflow & space saver tool I never knew I needed but now can’t live without! I am now a powerful designing, crafting machine!
Here’s the final design for the parasaur premade & this sheet will go with the partial. The final owner will be able to name them and I’ll add that to the sheet.
Stuffed all the parts, ready for detailing. Also made the weight bag for the body, ready to be inserted when the limbs/head are installed.
Thanks! Those gloves are part of a personal suit I have been working on for years and was one of the first set of paws I ever made. The fabric is thick dance lycra with conductive thread sewn into the pointer finger & thumb of each glove. The conductive thread allows me to use my phone wearing the gloves, although manipulating buttons on a phone screen can be challenging because of the claws.
