Tail sheath is now all sewn up and installed. Where the claw is jammed in is the little belt tunnel that travels through the foam core. Next step is doing the gore cap and belt tunnel fabric tube.

Completed crashing wave paint-by-numbers.
This ended up needing endless touchups because of 2 varnish crazing incidents (I don’t know why).

Working on the parasaur tail. The little hole that’s being left in the charcoal is for the belt tube that goes through the foam core. Also, this is my simplest tail ever (only 10 fur pieces)!

Finally made up a proper storage bag for my cintiq24. I couldn’t resist making a pun out of fabric choices.

Last commission for the year for a returning client. 56 pieces for a tail and indoor feetpaw set to match a set of handpaws I made last year.
Also, the purple fur arrived with a nigh unremoveable scent permeated into the fibres, which played hell with my sensory sensitivities & asthma. So there’s not going to be the usual progress post series for this as I ended up having to focus on just sewing fast to reduce my exposure.

Finished dinodog comm! This paw & tail set was sooo fun to work on.
The 180cm dragger tail features hand-sewn and hand-trimmed spot details, minky spikes, gore end cap detail with hidden belt loop, a detachable wrist strap, and a weighted tip. The paws feature hand-sewn and hand-trimmed spots, appliqué minky puff pads, mixed size minky claws, claw sheaths, and finger escapes.

Completed all the remaining reeds and got most of the blue colour for the snow blocked in before I ran out of thread. I’m going to have to visit the store to get some equivalent DMC colour thread to finish that section off. Rather annoyed that this is the 5th colour in this kit that not enough thread was provided.

Lots of minky work for the comm tail. I decided to put foam inserts in the spikes instead of polyfil so they hold the shape better. Also did up the decorative gore cap with signature hidden belt loop.
