This is getting unwieldy & difficult to photograph progress. But I’ve only got 10 rows left of colourwork design left before the top ribbing section so I’m super excited to finish it.

Did some work down in the workshop this week. I’ve got the parts of my fibre blending board all cut & sanded, just waiting on some hardware in order to finish it off.
My glass whorl from Glassbead in etsy & custom spindle sticks to fit from The Dancing Goats arrived too. I sanded smooth some pointy parts of the sticks & sealed with beeswax, all ready to try out medieval spinning.
Spinning some merino on my new Mingo&Asho glasspin.
I taught myself to spin supported earlier this year. I found fleegle style spinning to be the most comfortable on my support spindles as its a kind of unsupported style which accommodates short or long draw.
Do you like watching my spinning videos? Should I do more of my spins?
Marathon session with lots of accidental stabbing getting all the fingers aligned & sewn. No kidding, this is a finnicky pattern!
I got super annoyed at how I kept putting this project off, so I finally just cleared time to sit & start stitching.
Aaaaaand I’m at it again. I must admit that really I’m just trying to use up a stash of silicone beads I have lying around…problem is I run out of colours that go together which prompts more bead purchases…
Packaging finally arrived and I have spent hours photographing all the beaded items and packing them up. There’s glass/stone/polymer clay bead stitch markers, wine charm sets, earrings, silicone bead pens/lanyards/keychains. I’ll be uploading everything into my Etsy store in batches over the next week or so.
Hubert would like to present a basket of yarn cakes ready for plying & the latest singles of my dyed red panda spin.
Miwak is now spooky season ready!
Decided to try to streamline these comms, so I spent a morning completing all the basic seams on the second paw set. Does anyone else think the finger tubes resemble purple cannelloni?
