  • Finally sewing up my partners last ‘fun’ shirt. I’m hungry for donuts just looking at it.

  • Finalised the sleeves in prep for fur cutting. The original sleeve was embarassingly too large so I reduced the armhole (old sleeve). This was too small and stretched the sleeve/torso sections. Some slight modifications and I have a sleeve that is tight but not too tight, and doesn’t stretch (new sleeve).

  • Finished feetpaws. Pattern by Kemocube on etsy, with the modifications of claws and padded lining. These are super comfy and squishy! Would be great for a partial fursuit/costume or even as indoor slippers.

  • Finished up my apron. I am so pleased with this, it looks a whole heap neater than the last one. The pockets are all really deep too meaning I can keep lots of useful things on me when making!

  • Decided to make myself a bee themed crafting apron using a different pattern. This one won’t have a zippered pocket, but the pockets will be deeper and the finishing will be much cleaner I think.

  • Progress on the sockpaws. The pattern said I could set claws into the darts, but that didn’t work so well as they all ended up too low on the foot and bend into the floor. Something to note for future use.

  • Hood progress. Everything is sewn up & seams finished. Need to shave some parts and finish up some internal issues on the mask base, before the zipper is inserted on the back & everything gets glued down.

  • Testing a slim footpaw pattern by KemoCube on etsy, for possible application to the future jackalope fursuit partial project. Made using the same furs as the previous 5-finger paw pattern, so it can be a set. I’ll possibly try to sell this once completed (since I can’t keep everything I make)

  • I just realised I didn’t account for the crest movement when patterning! Oops, but fixed it!

  • I re-did the pattern for the head because I didn’t like the shapes and many pieces from the first pattern. I like the more fluid forms and simple shapes of this new pattern. Now I can order fur for the whole suit as all the patterns are done!
