I have never had any problems with fibre or fabric storage my entire life.

I think the main consideration for storing any kind of textiles is making sure the storage area is dry, cool, & has good ventilation. All my fabric & fibre is kept in ip67 waterproof containers, some in my house in the craft room, some downstairs in the garage. The fibre boxes I go a little bit extra and bag everything in resealable baggies – here’s what I organised today ready for storage.

It’s also very possible the my local Aussie eastern seaboard climate helps a lot too!
